Here are our 5 current giving iniatives:
- Academics
- Every Fall AND each Spring Semester, I agree to give $____ for every initiated brother that receives a "Dean's List" or "Faculty Honors" award for achieving a 3.0 semester GPA or higher. This gift is to encourage academic excellence in our brotherhood. So I'm not overextended, regardless of how many brothers achieve this goal, my gift will have a maximum gift amount of $_____.
- There were 31 brothers that achieved this past Spring of 2009.
- This gift IS NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE and it should be used by the chapter as a "dues reduction incentive".
- Recruitment/Growth
- Each Fall AND each Spring Semester, I agree to give $____ for every newly initiated brother that joins Pi Kappa Phi. This is to encourage the ongoing and continued success of our recruitment efforts. So I'm not overextended, regardless of how many brothers are initiated, my gift will have a maximum gift amount of $_____.
- There were 21 brothers that were initiated this past Fall and 5 this past Spring, totaling 31 for the year).
- This gift IS NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE and it will be used by the chapter towards recruitment efforts.
- Pi Kappa Phi National Chapter Investment Fund (CIF), benefiting Iota directly.
- I agree to give a "one time" gift of ______ on _______ date towards the Iota CIF Fund.
- Furthermore, annually, on ________ date, I agree to give $____ .
- This fund will be managed in by the Pi Kappa Phi National Headquarters and distributions are authorized by the Iota Alumni Board. Up to 5% of the fund's value can be used annually towards educational purposes by Iota. This could be for scholarships, sending leaders to National training conventions ...blah ...blah ...blah (I am getting the exact verbiage from our National Office).
- Gifts are fully TAX DEDUCTIBLE
- Pi Kappa Phi National Foundation
- I agree to give a "one time" gift of ______ on _______ date towards the Pi Kappa Phi National Foundation.
- Furthermore, annually, on ________ date, I agree to give $____.
- The purpose of this Foundation is to provide ongoing support from our National Headquarters...blah...blah...blah (I am getting the exact verbiage from our National Office).
- Gifts are fully TAX DEDUCTIBLE
- Georgia Tech Operating Endowment
- I agree to give a "one time" gift of ______ on _______ date towards the Georgia Tech, Operating Endowment.
- Furthermore, annually, on ________ date, I agree to give $____.
- This gift will be used on an ongoing basis for the support and growth of the University. This gift will be presented directly on your behalf by the volunteer Iota Alumni Board.
- Gifts are fully TAX DEDUCTIBLE
